OPEN CALL: In Situ AIR 2015

We are inviting artists all around the world to join our 2015 Residency Program for a month in the heart of Bandung city. In Situ Artist-In-Residency (AIR) was initiated by Platform3 in 2014 with the emphasis on artist’s thematic and artistic development through adaptation and interaction. This programs aims to result temporary or process-based artworks that responds current situation around Platform3. Platform3 hopes that the process of interaction and socio-cultural exchange that occurs between the artist and the surrounding environment during residency can be a source of inspiration, further research and experimentation for the artist. Platform3 In Situ AIR facilitates participant with weekly meeting, artist talk and work presentation. Platform3 will conduct consultancy with Board of Advisors consisting of Indonesian artists and curators with national and international experiences. Platform3 is also willing to arrange discussion/research session with artist’s preferred resources that fits artist’s artistic/thematic interests. Open for Indonesian and international artists between 25-45 years old.

Application period:

2 April – 1 May 2015

Residency period (30 days):

  • July 2015 – August 2015
  • December 2015 – January 2016

Hi dear friends, we would like to know if we as some one who is not an artis but is coordinating an artist in residence program here in México, can aply for you call IN SITU AIR 2015, to share experiences and do a research about independent projects and spaces in Yakarta and some other Indonesian cities.
