English Version
Platform 3 proudly present an exhibition of Zico Albaiquni – Seke. This exhibition is part of our inaugural program called Focus. The main idea of the program is to facilitate the artist who will be exhibiting in our space with a process of discussion, and expected to produce the artistic development of the exhibiting artist, on a topic or theme .
For more than three weeks, Zico saw, observed and absorbed the environment around our space. He founded a variety of particular aspects around the space of Platform 3, it’s village, cemetery, sport field that use as a place to play also as a place where people dry their clothes, rice field, until finally ‘seke‘ * , a place where people gather to take one or two buckets of clear water for household use, for bathing, takingwudhu, drink, or just rest for a while.
Zico processed a different way from other artists who had exhibited at Platform 3 before. He made an ‘open studio’ format during the making of his work. He used found objects from the neighborhood such as pieces of used wood, chair from our gallery space, pedestal, electric fan, and others stuff. All objects whose position and shape he always change at any time, and visits from a lot of friends that created new possibilities between the artist, the works and also the viewer.
