Platform3 is pleased to present an artist talk session by ila, an artist and researcher who is part of the IN SITU: Artist-in-Residency Program 2015 at Friday, August 14th 2015, starts form 3 PM.
ila decided to conduct an artist talk and open discussion session halfway her ongoing project. Her project Anak Anak Abdullah uncovers the emotive/experiential narratives of people who were born out of wedlock, examining differences and similarities between Bandung and Singapore. Acknowledging what she defines as an ‘outsider paradox’, she responds to her personal observations, findings and numerous encounters into alternative narratives that lies between fictional and actual realities.
